Easy Microwave Peda | Indian Milk Fudge Recipe – Diwali Sweet

Microwave Peda is an easy sweet which can be made in 3 minutes. When you have no time to prepare any lengthy time-consuming sweets at the time of festivals, this Peda comes in handy. With three key ingredients, this mouth melting Peda can be prepared. Let’s celebrate this Diwali with this mouth melting dessert.

This Microwave Peda is prepared using condensed milk, milk powder, and butter. It is so simple to prepare. Mix all the ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook in micro high for 3 minutes. stir very well every minute. Let it cool. Make the desired shape and decorate with pista, badam or cashews.

With the same ingredients, you can also make it on the stove top. Mix all the ingredients heat a non-stick Kadai, set to medium flame and stir continuously till it gathers as a mass. Let it cool and make the desired shape. It takes 10-12 minutes to prepare on the stove top.

Ingredients

• 1 cup Milk powder full fat
• 200 gms Condensed milk full fat
• 1 tbsp Butter
• 1 tsp Cardamom/Elaichi Powder
• 15 Pistachios/Pista to garnish

Servings: Pedas approx

Instructions

1. Have all ingredients ready. In a microwave safe dish melt the butter.

   
2. Now add milk powder, condensed milk, and elaichi powder and mix thoroughly. Cook in the microwave high for 3 minutes, stirring in between every minute.

   
3. After 3 minutes, let the mixture to cool. Once the mixture cools, grease your hands with ghee, make small balls and gently press the balls to flatten them to the shape and garnish with pista as shown in the picture. Easy Microwave Peda is ready.

   

Recipe Notes

• I used full-fat milk powder and condensed milk. You can even use low-fat.
• You can even add saffron strands to enhance flavor and color.
• You can store it in the refrigerator for a week but serve at room temperature.
• For above-specified ingredients approximately you get 12-15 pedas.
• My microwave is 1000 watts. Adjust according to yours.
• If you don't have a microwave, no worries, place all the mixed ingredients in Kadai and cook till it gathers as a mass in medium flame. Make the desired shape and enjoy.
