Chicken Soup is so yummy and the Chicken lovers can never say NO to this appetizer. Traditional Chicken Soup is usually said to cure a common cold. We use a lot of pepper, cumin, ginger and garlic which is said to have natural medicinal properties.
This Chicken Soup is very easy to prepare. Grab all the ingredients, place it in a pressure cooker and cook for 4 whistles. Your Soup is ready. It is that simple to prepare. Don’t use chicken with flesh. Chicken bones with less flesh give a great taste to this soup. Similarly, using the same method you can prepare the mutton soup. Instead of 4 whistles leave for 6-7 whistles. While serving filter the soup and serve it hot as a clear soup. If required sprinkle with little extra pepper powder. Now let us see how to prepare this Chicken Soup.

- 200 gms Chicken bones with minimum flesh
- 2 Onions
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 strand Curry leaves
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 tsp Whole Pepper
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds/Jeera
- 1 tbsp Pepper Cumin Powder
- salt to taste
- 4 Cups Water
- 1 tbsp Coriander leaves finely chopped
- In a pressure cooker add water, chicken bones, curry leaves, finely chopped onion, tomato, ginger garlic paste.
- Also add whole pepper, cumin seeds, pepper cumin powder, salt to taste.
- Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and pressure cook for 4 whistles. Once pressure releases open the lid and garnish with coriander leaves. Chicken Soup is ready. While serving filter the soup and serve it hot. If required sprinkle with pepper powder and salt.
- Either you can finely chop onion, tomato and add or else you can grind onion, tomato to smooth paste and add. Either way, it tastes good.
- Same way you can prepare the mutton soup. But must keep for 6-7 whistles.
