Pizza Bombs, a simple and unique appetizer made from homemade pizza dough. If you have a party at your place, sure make this and surprise your guests. It is definitely a big hit with the crowd. Kids would love this a lot. Adjust seasoning and stuffing according to your kid’s preference.
The base which I have given here can be used for making pizza too. As I am using instant yeast, I directly added the yeast to the dough and knead it with warm water. Always let the dough to rest for at least one hour. After it rises, knead the dough and make equal size balls. Stuff with the stuffing specified below or you can use any of your desired preference according to your needs. I used mozzarella cheese, you can even use cheddar cheese or any other cheese that you like. Use any branded pizza sauce, soon will share the pizza sauce recipe. Don’t forget to brush it with the seasonings as it gives a nice flavor to the pizza bombs. Now let us see how to prepare this pizza bombs.

- 1 Cup All purpose flour/Maida
- 1 tsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Instant Yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 Cup Pizza Sauce
- 1/4 Cup Mozzarella/cheddar Cheese
- 1 Jalapeno pickle cut into pieces
- 1 tbsp Olives cut into pieces
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes
- 1/2 tsp Oregano or Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic finely chopped
- In a bowl add all the ingredients given under "To make pizza dough". Crumble and mix thoroughly. Now add a little by little warm water and make the dough. I added approx 1/2 cup water. If you feel very sticky add little oil and knead the dough.
- Close the lid and let it rest for at least 1 to 2 hours till it doubles the size. After it doubles punch it slightly and knead it thoroughly.
- Make the equal size of 8 balls. Apply little flour on the surface, take a ball and spread into a small circle. Now place pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, jalapeno, olives. Bring the edges together and make it as a ball.
- Place the pizza balls on the tray lined with parchment paper. In a bowl add the ingredients under "The seasoning" and mix well.
- Brush the pizza balls with the seasoning mix. Bake the pizza balls in the preheated oven to 170°C for 12-15 mins. Take them out once they are baked. Serve hot. Pizza bombs are ready.
- As I used instant yeast, I directly added it to the all-purpose flour.
- Knead the dough with warm water and let the dough rest for at least one hour.
- Use any branded pizza sauce.
- I used mozzarella cheese, you can use either cheddar cheese or any other cheese of your choice.
