Apple Blueberry Smoothie is a refreshing drink which can be had for the breakfast. It is very filling and tastes delicious. In most of the smoothies, we use banana. Here I have skipped banana and added apple instead.
Apples are extremely rich in antioxidants, flavonoid, and dietary fiber. This helps in reducing the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes, and heart disease. Many studies have suggested that increasing consumption of plant foods such as blueberries decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, heart disease, and overall mortality. Plant foods may also promote hair and skin health, increased energy, and overall lower weight.
- 2 Apples medium size
- 1 cup Blueberry
- 1.5 cups Chilled Milk
- 2 tbsps Sugar
- 1/4 cup Crushed ice
- Chop apples into cube size. Along with apple add blueberry, chilled milk, sugar and crushed ice in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into the glasses and serve chilled.
- Adjust sugar according to your taste. If not replace sugar with honey.
- for thinner smoothie add half cup extra milk.
- for thicker smoothie reduce half cup milk.
