Now vacation started and my daughter craves for something to munch. To relieve in-between hunger pangs you can make this healthy ladoos. I have used roasted peanuts here. If you don’t have roasted peanuts, first roast the peanuts well, then let it cool completely. Peel the skins and then blend it. There are many methods of making peanut as ladoo or chikki/burfi. - 1 Cup Roasted Peanuts
- 3/4 Cup Jaggery grated
- 1 tsp Cardamom/Elaichi Powder
- 1 tsp Ghee
- Add roasted peanut, grated jaggery, cardamom powder and blend coarse powder. My mixer blends everything at a stretch. If your blender doesn't grind everything in a single stretch, first grind the roasted peanut and then add grated jaggery, cardamom powder and pulse it for a min.
- Transfer powdered mix to a bowl and crumble it. Apply ghee to your hands, take a handful of mix and make to ladoo. Yummy peanut ladoo is ready.
- If your kids like cashews and raisins you can roast it in a tsp of ghee and add while making ladoos.
- You can even add a quarter cup of roasted sesame seeds or flaxseeds while blending the ingredients.
- Don't make to smooth powder, keep it coarse.
