Rose Milk Popsicle is one of mine and my hubby’s childhood favorite. We used to get this in the triangle shape. We call it as kuchi ice in Tamil. As summer started, I made this as this is the perfect treat for summer.
If you have homemade Rose Syrup handy this rose milk popsicle is very easy to prepare. You need only two ingredients milk and rose syrup. You can check here how to make homemade rose syrup. I have already posted Rose Milk using homemade rose syrup. I am using the same rose milk to make this rose milk popsicle. When we had a bite, we really were taken back to those wonderful days where we used to buy this from an ice vendor. Now let us see how to prepare this recipe.
- Boil 1 cup milk (approx 250 ml) and cool it completely. Once cooled filter it and set aside. Add homemade or store bought rose syrup and mix thoroughly. If required adjust sugar. I used homemade syrup and I did not add any extra sugar. Check the link for homemade rose syrup given above.
- Now pour it into the popsicle mold and freeze it for at least 5 to 6 hrs or until firm. Once done dip popsicle mold in water for few seconds and remove the rose milk popsicle sticks easily and enjoy.
- If you like you can even add cooked vermicelli or soaked chia seeds.
- Adjust rose syrup according to your taste.
- Freeze it at least for 8 hrs.
Delicious Rose Milk Popsicle is ready to relish.
