Today’s Veg Lunch Menu consists of coconut rice, spiced curd rice, raw banana tawa fry, garlic pickle, sago pappad, and banana. You can even add any seasonal fruits that are available, salads, fresh fruit juices of your choice. This is again an idea to show what can be prepared for lunch.
How to prepare this simple recipe within a one hour time:
- Soak rice and at the same time cut the raw banana and marinate and set aside.
- First, prepare the steamed rice. To cook rice, soak basmati rice or long grain rice and cook in the ratio of 1:2. or if you are using boiled rice (ponni rice) use 1:3 ratio. Then transfer cooked rice to two wide bowls equally, spread it and let it cool completely.
- Once steamed rice is ready, make coconut rice and curd rice simultaneously.
- Then fry the marinated raw banana and papad side by side.
