Dates Milkshake one of the simple, healthy and easy milkshake recipe which can be prepared in no time. This milkshake is made with 3 ingredients: dates, milk and cardamom powder. If your mixer can blend everything, then add all ingredients and blend it and enjoy.
Dates have umpteen health benefits. It is very nutritious and rich in fiber. Also, it contains antioxidants and it is an excellent natural sweetener. Those who want to avoid white sugar can replace it with dates in juices and milkshakes. Here in UAE, it is still hot. Today I did not want to have tea, instead needed something refreshing. I had dates in my pantry and made this delicious dates milkshake to relish it in this hot summer.
If your blender can’t blend dates as such, then you need to soak dates in hot milk for at least one hour before blending. You can either use 2 cups of milk as I did or else you can even use 1 and a half cup milk and half cup cream while blending. The dates which I used was very sweet. So I did not add any extra sweetener. If you want to add extra sweet add palm sugar or honey according to your needs. I used walnuts to garnish, you can use any nuts of your choice. Now let us see how to make this recipe.
