There are lots of mangoes during the summer and why not try this lip-smacking Mango Thokku. This mango thokku is sweet, tangy and spicy. I have used Totapuri mango to make this thokku. Instead, you can use any raw mango.
This mango thokku is one of my and my hubby’s favorite. Whenever I make this, it empties in no time. This is the best accompaniment which goes well with curd rice, roti, idli or dosa. Use only sesame oil to temper. Also, add a generous amount of oil. I added a tbsp of jaggery to mango. If the mango is sour add more jaggery. Once it cools completely store the thokku in an airtight container. You can refrigerate thokku for months. Now let us see how to prepare this recipe.
