Preparing Veg Hakka Noodles in Mealthy Multipot is a breeze. We can make this Restaurant style Hakka noodles in just 3 mins. It is not necessary to cook noodles separately. The entire process is made as a one-pot meal.
Non-vegetarians can include fried chicken or egg along with this. Again each and everyone has their own version of noodles preparation. You can either include or remove any ingredients according to your needs and taste. In Veg Hakka Noodles we add basic vegetables like beans, cabbage, carrot, and capsicum. You can even add mushroom or any other veggies of your choice. Also, all basic Chinese recipes call for soy sauce, tomato sauce, green chili sauce, and vinegar. You can either add all or add anyone according to the taste preferred.
To prepare Veg Hakka Noodles in Mealthy Multipot following steps should be noted:
- Break the noodles to very small pieces.
- Make sure to place the noodles as the bottom layer and the fried veggies as the top layer in the pot.
- Add only the required water. approximately 1 to 1.25 cups of water only.
- If you add more water noodles may become soggy or watery.
- Also, pressure cook for only 3 mins and once the beep stops quickly release the pressure. Do not wait for a long time as noodles may get overcooked. Serve immediately.

Now let us see the recipe.
- 1 pack Ching's Hakka Noodles
- 1 Onion Cut lengthwise
- 1 cup Carrot, Beans cut lengthwise
- 1 cup Cabbage Cut lengthwise
- 1/2 Green Capsicum Cut lengthwise
- 5 Garlic pods finely chopped
- 1 tsp Chili Flakes
- 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Sauce
- 1 tsp Pepper powder
- 1 tbsp Spring Onion Greens
- salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Sesame Oil
- Select SAUTE mode on. When the display shows HOT add oil. Once the oil gets heated add garlic, saute for a min.
- Now add onion, a little salt for onion and saute until it turns translucent. Then add carrot, beans and saute for another min.
- Add capsicum and saute for a min. Then add cabbage and saute for a min.
- Then add chili flakes, soy sauce, red chili sauce, pepper powder, salt and mix all well. Then move all the veggies aside.
- Break the Ching's Hakka noodles to small pieces. Place it in such a way that the noodles are at the bottom and the veggies are on the top of the noodles.
- Pour only a little water until the noodles are immersed. Do not add too much water as the end product may become soggy or watery.
- Now cancel SAUTE mode. Close the lid. Turn the VENT to the SEALING position. Select PRESSURE COOK mode on HIGH for 3 mins.
- Once done QUICK RELEASE THE PRESSURE. Once the valve drops open the lid and mix all well. Veg Hakka noodles are ready, garnish with spring onion greens and serve hot.
